I grew up in
Jokkmokks council,
in a village where my parents had a small farm. I am the oldest of 5
sisters and brothers. My daddy worked in the forest during the winter and
the rest of the year he mostly worked at the farm. My mother had more
than enough to do with children, animals and the house. My grandparents
moved to a house close to where we lived. After finish school I
tried different types of work until 1970 when I decided to study again. After
2 years in a folk high school and 1 year of office
education I began to work at the hospital in Boden, that was
1975. I stayed there till November 1999 when they closed the hospital and we moved
to a new hospital in Sunderbyn.
I am interested in many things, besides those you can read about here I
also like reading, music, to travel, crafts, genealogy, my computer.
My husband and I live in
Boden but spend much of our spare time at our cottage. We built it in
the willage near
the artic circle, where I was born.
