Part 17 June 2008
A couple of buddies and myself were visiting a
car meeting in Germany near Berlin the last weekend in June. The show is called
“Roadrunners Paradise Race 61” and is held on a former Russian military
airbase from the cold war era in the old DDR (East Germany). The weather was
shit but we meet many new friends and the German beer is always a hit so in all
it was a nice show. The white numbers on the cars is for the drag racing
contests that where held with old fashion flag start on the runway. We bring my
41 and my buddies 56 Olds.

My new project
This is my new ride, a 1948 Buick Special Sedanette. It’s all original with the 248 str8 eight and three on the tree. My plans for the future is to keep the straight 8 and the torque tube and just convert it to 12 volts and air suspension. My goal is to try to reach the stance on the following pics.
