The Red –

the neck profile is a slightly thicker C-ish shape (similar to a fender SRV but with less shoulder).
The bridge pickup is a Black Dog "Big Dog" model.
For the neck I've been trying out different things ( I had another Black dog in there but the clip is a Velvet Hammer.) I'm leaving it as Velvet Hammer neck and mid and Black Dog. That seems to be what I think voices out best.
The body is honduran mahogany, the neck white korina with a african blackwood board. It's 24.6" scale.
the basic idea is fat but clear strat sounds on the neck and middle, Les paul Junior sounds on the bridge
with the volume up and a bit treble rolled off, a bit warmer and fatter strat sounds on the bridge with the
treble up and the volume dropped a bit, tele/gibson hybrid neck and bridge together tone.

here's a clip of the neck pickup neck pickup red houla

here's the bridge pickup tone. Bridge pickup clip

here's a couple more clips.
the rhythm on both is neck and middle pickup.
the single line stuff is denoted per clip

Bridge and middle pickups

here's another clip of the red one showing a little more stratty side.Rhythm neck middle, single line neck pickup

as apoint of comparison here's a clip of a swamp ash maple neck stratahoula playing with the same pickup settings amp/settings/all else being equal. Swamp ash houla rhythm neck middle, lead neck

Here's a clip I did for the Gjika using the Red houla so I figured i might as well drop it in here as well.
Gjika amp clip using the red houla

This is a quick clip of Michael's Cocobolo /blackwood neck Stratahoula with a P90 in the bridge through the Gjika mini amp into a Komet. this was recorded at conversational volume.
