THE HISTORY OF TEQUILA GIRLS - 1999-2004:

2004 - in september we where back in Germany for a short tour.
2003 - in august we where back on the festival ROCK AM BRINK in Germany,
this was the only gig outside sweden this year.
Working on new song and will hopefully have a new record out next year.
2002 - released "OND SAFT EXPERIENCE", a CD with 4 new studio song + live songs from prague 2001.
re-release of the sold out live CD: "slupsk",
now as an updated version called "slupsk V.2.0" including 7 unreleased songs from the same consert back in 1993.
made two european tours this year.
2001 - the year started off with a norwegian tour in january,
halden, bergen & høyanger was hit by the stockholm posse!
in february recordings where taking place in the tequila studio for the new release for the april/may european tour.
the name of the record are "uwaga" and include not only songs from "slupsk", "mindtripper" & "this city" but also rare live material and new recordings.
we also did two gigs at the etnographic museum in stockholm this year.
2000 - the first release with the new tequila girls is a 4 track vinyl 7" ep called "this city" on greed records, germany,
the song "inbetween" out on a uk/norway compilation called "genetic mutation vol.2".
in june the tequilaism tour 2000, takes us to germany and the netherlands.
a quick norway tour in september, we played in halden and at garage in bergen on the little big heart benefit festival..
finally played together with the tubs, and lots of other great bands,
and then another trip to norway in october.
1999 - tequila girls starts with a full crew, our new drummer calle joins in january and rehearsals,
songwriting, demo recordings & some gigs are done.
a short u.k. tour takes place in june,
back in bradford at the 1 in 12 club together with the duvall's then the bull & gate in london with the tone & southport.
new recordings are made with our mobile studio in the squatted reharsalplace in the old movie town outside stockholm (last ever made there, r.i.p.) . in december the new tequila headquarter www.tequilagirls.com uploaded.
