This section combines two interests: soccer statistics and programming. I have collected soccer results ever since I got a Sinclair Spectrum (a wonderful little computer) and the pages are based on more than 20,000 match results.
To navigate amongst this amount of results they are shown with the help of a couple of Java Applets, which make it easy to find previuos meetings between any two chosen teams, and to get a good general view of whole seasons.
These pages are for all those interested in soccer statistics.

The underlying datas
cover the time from 1991.
They are gathered from Swedish newspapers and in later years from internet -
SVT Text and soccernet among others.
The accuracy mirrors the reportings in the papers - it's best for the highest
divisions. For lower divisions, especially those in the English league,
Swedish papers sometimes lack results. In those cases, match results are
reconstructed from later tables. Match date might then be faulty (+- some day)
but the match result should be right.
Data from Mabel's
tables covering Third Division and Football Conference 1995 - 1998
have been added afterwards. New from the season 1999 - 2000 is

1999 originating from Svenska Fotbollsförbundet
(Swedish Football Association) and for 1998 from Svenska Spel
(the Swedish Pools Company)
