The restaurant is on the ground floor. They are fully
licensed to serve alcohol.
The food is good and homecooked and it is mostly made of local
ingredients. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open
almost all year round.

| This house is a private summer
house that we can use during most of the year. In July, the first weeks in
August and Easter holidays the owners visit Ammarnäs and live in the
house, so then we can´t use it. It was built in the early 1940s and it is built
in the typical style of this region. It is in an extremely beautiful
location at the
lake shore of Nolavan and it is near our homestead "Hedebo Gård".

This house was build
by Gunnar Grundström, descendant of the founder of Ammarnäs.
The outside was renovated a few years ago but the inside has not been
renovated recently. |
| On the top floor there are 3
double rooms.There is a plain WC on the top floor. A plain WC with shower is
on the ground floor. In the kitchen there is also an old woodheated stove,
which you can light a fire in. In
the living-room you have a big bear skin that Gunnar Grundström killed. There
are also a lot of other exotic objects and old furniture in the house. |

| This youth hostel is situated in
the center of the village. They are old apartments which have been converted into
a youth hostel. |

The rooms are plain and there are 2 - 6 beds/room.
There aree 14 beds in total, a fully-equipped kitchen and WC
with shower in the corridor. |

The house was built
in 1912 by Ludvig Grundström, descendant of the founder of Ammarnäs and Gunnar Grundströms
father (he who built Grundströmska Gården).
and is in an extremely beautiful location at the lake shore of Nolavan with
magnificent mountain views.
It´s 4 km from the main village but in the winter time you can take a
shortcut over the lake so then it´s only 1½ km. |

The stable is a renovated
old hay
barn with spaces for 6 horses. Inside there are 3 boxes and 3 stalls. We are
planning 4 more spaces; 1 box and 1 large 3-horses box.
It´s a small and cosy stable with a touch of the old times, far from the
stereotypical large, modern stables. |
Outside the stable there
is a small riding-ground, about 25x30 meters. And nearby we have access to a
round-coral. In the village, 4 km from our place, there is a big
riding-ground, about 60x20meters

Our "Ammarnäsiska Spa" is by the lake
of Nolavan
and there you have a wonderful view over mountains, lake Nolavan and lake
Gautsträsk and the old hay barns in the Vindelriver/Tjulåns delta landscape.

in the delta landscape are protected as part of our cultural heritage. Every early summer
the hay barns are flooded by the unregulated Vindelälven (the Vindel
river). |
