About Her

Born 1963 in Stockholm, Sweden.Mother russian, father swedish. Nadia went to Moscow in 1982 and studied art at The Moscow Art College in memory of 1905. In 1986 she graduated as a qualified artist-designer. Her superviser was Wladimer Alexandrovitj Konjagin, rewarded several times for his art-work and contribution to culture in Russia. A lot of Russias most prominent artists started their careers at this school such as Anatolij Zveriev and Dmitrij Plavinskij ; very famous in the USA now.

Nadia returns to Sweden and continues to educate herself by copying the artists she admires, to learn as many  techniques as possible. She can paint in many various stiles and makes excellent copies. But her main interest is the " old school " of impressionists. Her rolemodels are painters like Anders Zorn, William Turner, Alfred Sisley, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, and russian artists like Mikhail Vrubel, Ilja Repin, Vassiljev, NikolaiGay and many others from the old russian school.

The last years Nadia has been preoccupied painting portraits at request. She has got quite a few requests through her realistic and profound stile, where not only she achieves a very clear resemblance but manages to add soul and vividness.
