This little tutorial will teach you how to make an abstract plasma image.
So good luck and enjoy!

New Document
400x400
Transparent, RGB

Layer 1:
Press D to make sure you have the default colors.
Filter > Render > Clouds.
Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint > Long Lines.
Filter > Blur > Radial Blur> Place the cross in the upper left corner and use these settings.



Repeat one time. (Ctrl + F)
Leave it for now and make a new layer.

Layer 2:
Filter > Render > Clouds.
Filter > Render > Difference Clouds.
Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 3,0.
Filter > Sketch > Chrome > Detail: 4, Smoothness: 7
Filter > Distort > Wave with the following settings:



There are tons of different ways to make the chrome filter look nice,
I just chose this one by random.

Now you're almost done.
Just press Ctrl + U, make sure you check the colorize box.
Set it to 198, 25, 0 and press ok.
Now go back to Layer 1.
Switch it with Layer 2 so that Layer 1 is the top layer.
Press Ctrl + U, again, make sure you check the colorize box.
Set this layer to the same as the one before 198, 25, 0 and press ok.

Last step:
Change Layer 1's blending mode to Overlay and voila!
You're done :)
