I've been informed that the rec.photo files which were once available
via ftp from moink.nmsu.edu are no longer there.

The hard disk they were on died (well, that's not quite how the sysadmin
put it, but that was the message!).

Since no-one there is associated with the rec.photo groups anymore, that
ftp site seems to be a thing of the past.

I *think* all the files that were there are available via Web pages etc.,
but if anyone wants to offer disk space to set up another ftp archive,
let them speak out! Not everyone has Web access, so ftp files are still
valuable. I have a very limited amount of space on the external ISP
I have an ftp directory on. I can probably put the EOS FAQ there, but
I can't handle all the files. It would be nice to have one site with
all the files available (probably a few Mbytes in total??).
