Find the Windows Serial Number in the Registry
The Windows OEM is essentially the serial or registration number that every installation of Windows has. Certainly everyone who has installed Windows can remember having to type out that annoying string of characters before the installation procedure can be completed.
Here is how to find that OEM number on your Windows installation:
--> Click the Start button and select Run
--> Type regedit and press Enter (be careful not to modify your registry here)
--> Select: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
--> Select: Software
--> Select: Microsoft
--> Select: Windows
--> Select: Current Version
--> By the heading ProductKey on the right window pane the is the 25 digit OEM number

Dessa uppgifter ("dummyuppgifter" nedan förstås) är de eftersökta, och desamma som isiWinKey hämtar upp, skriv ner dom och förvara på säker plats, kan komma väl till plats i s m en ev ominstallation av operativsystemet:
--> ProductId: "12234-OEM-1234567-12345"
--> ProductKey: "KU2QG-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
--> ProductName: "Microsoft Windows 98"
--> RegisteredOrganization: "Kalles korvkiosk HB"
--> RegisteredOwner: "Kalle Korvlund"
Som alltid, stor försiktighet vid besök inne i Windows register. Tumregel "Se men inte röra"!
