Swedish servicemen were sent to distant colonies for protection service, and the Swedish industry has been redirected to help all of the world’s armed forces with materiel and resources. The war effort demands a total engagement from the entire community. The people at home know that they have to do their part if the human civilisation is to survive the war with the enemy.

As a part of the war effort, Swedish 72nd fighter squadron were reorganised under European command. Volunteers were trained on the SA-43 Hammerhead, in Sweden designated as AJS-43 Lokatten (Lynx). These Swedish men and women are now serving with other pilots from all over Europe on the Magellan.
