Kenny's Blade Tips & Tricks

The parts of the blade are easy to take apart and they all have different names and depending on what you change on your blade you can make it stronger, give it more endurance or just make it faster or heavier. This is what Kenny is going to talk with you here about. He will start with the top and move down to the base and then get into different instructions, ideas and tips. You will also get to hear a bit from Dizzi but he needs her so we couldn't pull her away from him... Ok it was more because he has a tracking system on her but we tried at least. Anyways meet you tutor in this subject Kenny whatever his last name is!

You can also ask Kenny anything about Beyblades just mail to kcm_managers@hotmail.com and we will make sure he gets the mail if you have the subject Kenny.

PS. More will come soon. Both new lessons and more on the ones that's up.

Lesson 1 The Bitchip

The part that is on the top of the blade is called a bitchip. Some of these chips has beast inside of them, these creatures are totems (A/N totem is what they are called in Sweden) called Bitbeast and they can emerge out from the blade in a flashing light. They can be in in different forms and shapes and also look like a animal. We have for example Driger that is a white tiger and Galux that is a wild cat. But some of the beasts is not in the form as a animal that you can see out in the wilderness. There are for example also Dragon and
Phoenix bitbeasts. Some people can't see these beasts when they appear out from the blade.

The bitbeasts gives the blade extra energy and when they show themselves (emerge from the blade) they can fight the opponents bitbeast and if one of them beats the other one that blade often wins. The bitchip is more important then you can believe even though it doesn't have a bitbeast inside of it since that is what the launcher grips onto when you let it riip, but we talk about that later in another lesson, but this one is over now.

Dizzi comment: So if you can be a bitbeast don't be Dranzer since she has been to the doctor more times that she can count while she has been battling with Kai. But some people even take the bitchip they get when they buy a blade and then tries to create their own beast and glue it to the empty spot. And sure they aren't for real but its a extra detail that makes you're blade stand out from all the others.

Lesson 2 The Attack Ring

The part under the Bitchip or actually where it is attached is called the attack ring. they come in different shapes and does the different amount of damage. Some blades like Max from the Bladebreackers/All Stars are made to have more defence then attack. The attack rings are important for, that's right the attack. but it is also the part that first breaks because it takes the most damage when it bumps into things and other blades.

There are some attack rings that that is made out of two smaller attack rings, or well the attack ring is in two parts. Galeon and Gallzy's blades are constructed like that so if you have one of those you know what I mean.

Dizzi comment: Depending on what attack ring you use you can either win or lose a battle.

Lesson 3 The Weight Disk

It's a disk often made by metal both light and heavy. The heavier the weight disc is the harder it is to knock it out from the disc (if you are blading in one). It can be a way to win a battle if you use a heavy weight disk but there are certain rules of how heavy it can be.

Lesson 4 The Blade Base

The blade base or just the base of you're blade is what it spins on. It's a little tip that it rotates on making the blade spin. There are different kinds of bases as well but most of them are really so similar that there isn't really a difference to talk about. My blade on the other hand has a complete unique blade base. (A/N you know his blade jumps on a feather instead of spinning)

Some blade bases or more specific the gear inside of it is developed for a special sort of spin right or left. It is possible to have it spin the other way but you should change the spin gear first since it give the best effect.

Lesson 5 Launchers

You can't make you're blade spin without this. or well you can but not for long or that good. There are four kinds of launchers out there. The bad one that you get when you buy a blade, the one with right spin, the one with left spin and the one that can launch two blades at the same time. Depending on the attack ring you should chose carefully when you decide in witch direction your blade should spin in.

if you look at the launcher you get when you buy a blade you see that it makes the blade spin in a certain direction. This direction is often the best one for your blade. Buuuutttt... in some cases when you make the blade spin in the other direction it goes from an attack blade to a defence blade and the other way around. the attack ring is formed out so it makes more

damage when it spin in one way and can take more when it spins in the other. So you could for example turn Max's blade into one that attacks instead of defences if you take for example the launcher that follows with Tyson's blade (that's one I know spins into the other direction then the one you get with a Draciel blade of any kind)

The ripcord can not be made longer and it is usually really easy to break so don't try to many Tyson backhand swings 'cause that will make your ripcord break earlier then if you do it the normal way. With this I mean if you start to pull it at the same time as you turn you can turn it so it will be in two pieces instead of the desired one piece.

Dizzi comment: The launcher also come with different extra stuff and in different colours so the one that is lazy can just take the launcher that looks the best with the blade you are using.

Lesson 6 Taking Care of Your Blade

A Beyblade is not something that lasts forever. You need to take care about it so it will last for more then a couple of days. Not as Tyson who needs a new blade every week (-.-)

You can try to keep it clean since that probably will make it both spin better (A//N ever tried to make a blade spin when the base is full of dog hair?) and last a bit longer.

Don't crash into stone walls and other hard things since that will weaken you're attack ring and don't blade on the street since that will make the blade base flatten. Its like having sandpaper under the base's tip and rub it for a few hours. You wont have a base in the end.

Dizzi comment: It's not easy to fix a blade that is broken so just make sure to save what is whole and toss the rest if you don't feel like superglue it, but that doesn't work. Or better up, find someone that is old and rich and ask him to buy you new parts. That's is what Kenny has to do all the time when Tyson breaks his blade.

Lesson 7 Extra Stuff

With the blades you buy there will also in 90 cases out of 100 for sure be stickers following with the blade. You can put them on if you want or just don't. Its a simple choice you got there. Some people colour they blade using waterproofed pens or nail polish. Although if you use nail polish you're blade will a) stink for at least a few day's or hours depending on the brand and b) you'll have to do the same process again since nail polish do fall of after a few bumps and hits.

I recommend that you either have the stickers you got with the blade on it, doesn't have anything or use paint that you would have on a model plane if you really want to add a colour on you're blade.

Dizzi comment: For once Kenny is not speaking from his own experience when it comes to the nail polish part but he is right on this. Nail polish is not something that you should have one you're blade since it can destroy the blade to.
