Broman 2000 refers to the dissertation "Kakofont storhetsvansinne eller uttryck för det djupaste liv?" by Per Olov Broman.

Comments; It's called Symphony No 3 by HR in the autograph. The Music Library of Sweden also has sketches and different unfinished versions of it in the Elsa Bomgren archive.

Comments; Hebbel was the favorite poet of Anna Goetze, the hostess at the boarding house where Vera Josephson lived during her (and HR:s) time in Dresden.
Lyne 1977 has Die Weihe der Nacht (Nächtliche Stille) as no 8:2 as well as no 9, Åhlén 1992 also makes the mistake to include Nächtliche Stille as a separate song. Both have them in the order Memento vivere, Die Weihe der Nacht. Lennart Hedwall corrected them in Musikrevy's Rosenberg-issue 1992.

Comments; Rosenberg's music wasn't used in the film as it was considered to radical. The music is based on African folk music then available at the National Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm (memoirs page 68).
The film was made by Prince Wilhelm (Bernadotte, 1884-1965, son of the Swedish king Gustaf V) and the photographer Oscar Olsson. It was produced by Svensk Filmindustri and had its premiere 1922-03-06 at Cosmorama in Gothenburg.
