Lyne 1977 dates the arrangement to the fourties, but Åhlén 1992 shows that it was premiered 1928-01-31 by The Radio Orchestra and HR at the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation. Bo Wallner dates the premier to 1929-01-30 by the Gothenburg orchestra and HR.

Comments; Johan Helmich Roman (1694-1758, Sweden) was thought to be the composer when Rosenberg did the arrangement. The piece nowadays is said to be related to Handel's Quel fior che all' alba ride (Duetto XV) for 2 sopranos & continuo from cirka 1708.
The arrangement was first performed 1934-02-02 by Radioorkestern and HR at the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation.
