	BIS Prodgeny group ©Katrin	Best In Show We had a lovely weekend at the former Skokloster, now Lövudden. On Saturday at the Afghanhound Specialty we showed Figge and five of his kids were entered. Specialty Best In Show SBIS-veteran SBIS-prodgenygroup Multi Ch WW-08 Xciting Xtravagant Creation Winner of the championclass and right behind his father in best male was Multi Ch Abica's Marquis De Sade In intermediateclass there were 4 kids from Jangel's J Taste Of Vicotry #1 and 5´th BM, BIS Intermediate J Time For Action #2 J Talk Of The Town #4 and the girl J Top Model #1 and BOS-Intermediate The four Jangels-kids also won BIS-breedersgroup Knl Jangels Now Figge has been winning 7´th BIS this year and 6 of them in a row! 1 Allbreed BIS 1 Specialty BIS 2 SBIS-veteran 3 Allbreed BIS-veteran And that is out of 7 shows this year!

	©Popov	All these great pups! We couldn´t be more proud of Figges kids: In Sweden: Jangel's Top Model won CC and BB-2 (from juniorclass, the 3'd pup from this litter winning CC). Jangel's Temptation won BB-2 at a KC show. In Holland: Popov's Oepsie Daisy has been winning titles in Germany “JAS Junior Winner 2009” “Country Junior Winner Nordrhein-Westfalen 2009” at her first official show as a junior and in Holland at an INT KC show she won a huge juniorclass with junior-CC and the R-CC. Her sister was at the same show and was right behind "Reggae" in the juniorclass Popov's Sundance Doll. In Denmark: Abica's Mustang Sally BOS and currently #1 Afghanhound (KC-system). Congratulations to all the owners and breeders, Figge is proud!

It was an official show and the judge was Louise Hickie from Australia, over 50 afghans were entered. "Figge" Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation made his debut in Veteranclass, not shown since the world dogshow last year. He ended the day as BIS-veteran and BM-2. Right after him in BM stood his 13 months old son, Jangles Taste Of Victory "Milton", beating a lot of specials. He won a hugh juniorclass (12 juniormales) and later on the specialty CC and BM-3 and BIS-junior. Congratulations to Elisabet, Sven and kennel Jangels. Also great results for Figge-daughters from Jangels in Österbybruk, placed 1´st and 2´nd in juniorclass, congratulations!

		Great shownews More great shownews from a Figge kid: Popov´s Peek-A-Boo wins BOB-puppy and this time they stayed for BIS and went all the way to Best In Show! Congratulations to owners and breeders. Also congrats to Ch Abica´s Mustang Sally for winning BOS at a Danish KC show. Guess who loved going to Stockholm by an airplane?

		Happy Birthday Olivia Yesterday Olivia (Ch Gengala Just Like That) turned 10 y.o. She´s now retired from the showring and can now only be the true diva at home. She ended her showcareer by winning BOB-veteran at the World Dogshow 2008 and the VWW-titel. Her carrer has been very successful #1 Afghanbitch 2005 #1 Afghanhound 2006 Winner of Champion of Champions 2007 World Veteran Winner 2008 Also congratulations to the Jangelskids, 1 y.o 31´th of March.

This year we have mostly crossed our fingers for Figges son Abica's Marquis De Sade, he has had a great year both in Denmark and Sweden. In Denmark he ended the year as #2 Top Dog of All Breeds and # 1 Afghanhound (KC-system), in Sweden he ended the year as #1 Afghanhound (tie, but never beaten by his co-winner in the ring ;-)). Huge congratulations to kennel Abica for breeding and showing him and Gitte, his owner. Figge is also a father of 2 new litters, one at Kennel Jangels and one at Kennel Popovs, good luck with them in the future. The Jangels-puppies has been to a couple of shows as pups, and they have surely shown themself from their best sides, with great BIS-results. I have had the great honour to judge Junior Handling in Iceland, it was fantastic. 	Please follow this link for Jawahars breeding through the years 1963-1983
		*Agneta got her first afghan in 1958, her name was Sanhjara* out of Tanjores Domino and by a son of Xenos v d OM. Sanhjaras life was too short, she died one year of age to a sickness. Then Agneta got Sikandra Darja, she was out of Ch Benares Baba Lou & by Ch Crown Crest Kaejorg.** Sikandra Darja was a multiple CACIB & CC winner, but didn't finish as a Champion. Agneta retired her from the show ring when she bought Tajmahal's Kenya II. She was out of Int. Ch. Tajmahal Nefertite & by Int Ch Talmahal Abd-ul Djari. Kenya II was very successful in the show ring, she became INT Nord Ch. and was one of Scandinavians most top winning bitches. Sikandra Darja & Kenya II, were both bred, see more under history .
	The most successful dogs came from the C- & D-litters (see history) , but Agneta's all time favorite of her own breeding was *INT* Nord Ch Jawahar's La Femme. *Another successful dog from Agneta was INT Nord Ch Jawahar's Dante,* actually this was one of Elisabet Levéns first afghans. In 1970 Jawahar's Dante was Afghan hound of the year** In the early seventies Agneta imported a male from the US, his name was Fantasis Sportin Life out of Akabas Devil May Care & by Akabas Royal Ransom. Agneta wanted to bring in a new bloodline to incorporate in her breeding program. Unfortunately Fantasis Sportin Life died at a young age due to a tick bite, therefore he only produced a few litters. We are proud to say that you can find him in the pedigree of Xciting afghans. Due to family circumstances Agneta couldn't continue to breed afghans, her family and full time job as a nurse took up all her time. At that time Agneta still owned some afghans and when her daughter Madelene turned 15 y.o. she bought her first afghan of her own, INT Nord Dk Ch Xciting Bullet The Blue Sky in co-ownership with Elisabet Levén. Although Agneta was not breeding anymore, she never lost her passion for the breed and could now follow the successful team from ringside.
		Madelene was born into Kennel Jawahar. After having afghans around the house and showing them for others, Madelene really wanted an afghan of her own. For years she had traveled with Elisabet & Sven and competed in Junior Handling with their afghans. Carina & Britt Ekwall at Kennel Xciting had a promising litter sired by Ch Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and there he was, Frans, Ch Xciting Bullet The Blue Sky. Frans was shown by Madelene and Elisabet and for some years he was one of Sweden's most top winning afghans. He was a fantastic show dog, a real performer, but unfortunately Frans broke his leg and he was retired from the show ring after that. *Then the sweet sweet whippet, Cello, Airescot Cello* joined the family.**
	After Frans the plan was to buy a new afghan, but Madelene wanted to wait until the right dog came along. It took some years, but finally Xciting made another interesting breeding and it was time again to look for another puppy. His name is INT US Nord Dk EE Lat Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation, Figge. He is co-owned by Elisabet and Sven and always shown by Elisabet. Figge is one of Sweden's most top winning dogs of all breeds. We don´t like to campaign the same dog year after year, so more or less he has been shown every other year in Sweden. Now that Figge was campaigned in Sweden by Elisabet. Madelene was offered to show one of Elisabet & Sven's Australian imports, the lovely bitch INT Nord Dk Ch Gengala Just Like That , Olivia. For not to compete against each other, Olivia was mostly shown in Denmark and the southern part of Sweden. Olivia did not enjoy dog shows from the beginning, but she learned to love it. Madelene and Olivia is a perfect match and it shows in the ring. After two years of showing Olivia, she has been Afghan of the Year and Afghan Bitch of the Year, along with winning Champions of Champions in Sweden, actually she is the first afghan ever to win this prestigious event. Olivia is also a multiple Group 1st. winner and have won numerous BIS veteran. A couple of years ago Madelene bought another afghan, for the main purpose to start breeding in the Jawahar name again. This bitch is a line breeding on Ch Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, her name is Tash Kurgan End Of Story, Debbie. She has been shown very little, but is only one CC away to complete her Swedish and Danish Champion title. As you can tell we don´t have many afghans, the most important thing for us, is that the dog can be part of our family. What will the future bring ? Well, maybe Jawahar will have a litter from Debbie and Figge. Until then, Agneta is still an active member of the afghan community and Madelene will do what she does best and love the most...showing dogs.

We start with Ch Abica´s Marquis De Sade He finished his year in Denmark as #2 Top Dog of all Breeds. In Sweden he continues his winning and yesterday he won SBIS at a Sighthound Specialty and he is in the lead for Afghan of the Year too. There are two dogs on the same point and only one show left, exciting. His sister Ch Abica's Mustang Sally She went to her first show (this year) last weekend and won BOS to her brother Marquis at the Nordic Winnershow. Yesterday she also went BOS to him at the Sighthound Show. And the pups Jangels Temptation had a great day yesterday winning BOB-puppy (about 6 pups) and two weeks ago Jangles Talk Of The Town went BOB and BIS-5 puppy at a large INT KC show. Congratulations to all the owners and breeders of these lovely kids!

		SBIS~1 While Figges "older kid" Ch Abicas Marquis De Sade continues his winning in both Denmark and Sweden, his younger halfbrother went to his first show. Huge congratulations to Knl Jangels and Elisabet, winning SBIS~1 puppy (6-9 months) at the Sighthound Specialty in Skogås. Jangels Time For Action "Brandon" Brandon is out of Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation and Ch Jangels No Jerks For Me

	My 7 best Junior Handlers in the older group. My winner in the older group. Her America Coccer was also #2 Top Dog of all breeds. My winner in the younger group.	Judging I had the honour to judge Junior Handling on Iceland. I had the most beautiful and lovely days together with Auja and her family. On Friday I judged the Junior Handler, there were 37 enteries. They were devided into 2 classes, 10-13 and 14-17 y.o. It was really good to have these groups, in the first group I could write some critics and in the secons group I really had the chans to do some handling tests on them. My winner in the first group was a really easy handler who did everything right, and she was there to show her dog and to have a fun evening. My winner in the second group was also a very great handler, and very easy on her hand with her American Coccer. On Saturday and Sunday they had there INT KC show, they only have 3 during the year. It´s impressive to see how wellpresented the dogs are, both in handling and condition, due to the very few shows. On Monday I had a handling-course. I´m so happy to see all the handlers training their dogs together and helping each other. That will make you to one of the best teams in the world I will think. I want to congratulate Auja for Chelseas Championship (Ch Punapaulan Yasmine). I also want to send all my best for the Junior Handling team going to Denmark to compete in Nordic Winnershow and also good luck to Thorpe (?) at Crufts. At the same day as these "toys" were borned, Figge´s other son Ch Abicas Marquis De Sade won another BOB in great style, he is currently #1 Afghanhound in Denmark and Sweden. 		World Dogshow We had a lovely day at the World Dogshow in Stockholm. We had entered 2 dogs and came home with two World Winner-titels. Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation "Figge" New World Winner-08 (CACIB) Ch Gengala Just Like That "Olivia" New World Veteran Winner-08 (BOB-vet) Thank you judges: Mrs Joan Goldstein and Dr Espen Engh. A huge congratulations to Figge's son CH Abica's Marquis De Sade R-CACIB at the same show It was a pleasure to see them as #1 and #2 to in a huge championclass. Ca 160 afghans.

		Hässleholm Nat KC show Today we went to the show with our ownbred black pug Jawahars Sigrid Brahe "Sigrid" hasn´t been to a show for the 2 last years! We are so proud that she went all the way to Best Of Opposit Sex with her second CAC. There were almost 60 pugs entered. Thank you judge Bo Lasthein Andersen, Denmark. Viktor had a lovely day, supporting with his Team Jawahar-body!

She was the only afghan entered to the whole show. Like last year she loved it and this year she went all the way to the semi-final! 		Congratulations While we were on vacation and we´re not having many dogshows in Sweden right now, Denmark started their showyear with an INT KC show in Odense. Figge's son Ch Marquis De Sade Marquis went to his 2'nd show this year, he went all the way to BIS~3. This time he was shown by his breeder Kirsten.

		Happy Birthday Debbie Our creazy girl is turning 3 years old today. I wonder if she´s turning 1 y.o. instead!

		Welcome to the family Xciting Maid In Manhattan We welcome little "My" to our family, she is going to live with Percy's mother Gunilla.

		Highlights 2007 Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation Figge has been shown to KC-shows and 2 Sighthoundshows, no Afghanhound Specialties. When you compete on the Top Dog Of All Breeds-list you need to rest some weekends. On the Top Dog Of All Breeds-list (KC-list, Agria Cup) Figge achieved # 9 (of all breeds), # 2 (Sighthound) and the highest placed Afghanhound (# 1). And on the top of this he was also # 1 Afghanhound male on the Afghan Of The Year-list. During the year he also achieved one SBIS (Sighthound Specialty) and one All Breed BIS (Finland). Thanks to Elisabet and Sven for Figges success!

		Ch Gengala Just Like That This grand old Lady has only been out for fun. First the invition-show Champion of Champions, then 2 Sighthound Specialties and in the end of the year one KC-show. Winner of Champion of Champions Two SBIS~veteran One SBOB

		But the bigges highlight for us this year was of course our little Viktor.

		Cello is my homeboy, but he has been to some shows (he´s to big to many judges) and especially the breedjudges has seen his qualities. Winning BOS-puppy and a couple of year later winning OpenClass and 5´th Best Male at Skokloster is worth mention. Otherwise he is the dog that always follow his owner. Even though he is 14 y.o. he is the dog that is in the front when we´re walking and when we going by car he always wants to come along.

	About us
		Welcome to our homepage In our home we have 2 Afghanbitches and one old Whippet. We live in the very south of Sweden. Madelene is borned into the Afghanbreed, raised up with dogshows and obediencecompetitions. As a young girl she competed in Junior Handling. She has had the honour to judge the Swedish Championship in Junior Handling 2004, and is still judging Junior Handling from time to time. Percy has always had dogs in his family, Great Dains and his own Affe. Now we have a little one, Viktor, and he likes dogs, but we think that his best dogs are Madde's brothers chihuahua "Gucci" and Viktor's grandma's chihuahua "My". Madde is the one that goes to dogshows and CO-own several of the dogs with Elisabet Levén and Sven Westerblad. We show the dogs when we think they are ready and they only shows a couple of year each. Most of the time they are gorgeous homedogs.

	Here we´re going to present when something special happens to us and our dogs.

		Olivia wins Champion of Champions 2007 This glitter and glamour matchshow is for the topwinning dogs of all breeds during one year. 3-5 dogs from each FCI-group are invited. Olivia was invited to both Veteran of Veteran and Champion of Champions. Olivia is the first afghanhound to win this special show. Elisabet and Sven had the honour to win Veteran of Veterans with Ch Xciting So Far So Good 2002. The judges for Champion of Champions were Norman Huidobro Corbett, Spain, Fredrik Norgren, Sweden & Antonio Di Lorenzo, Italy. They wote for the dog they like the most and that one will continue to the next level. And olivia went all the way! In the final she met the lovely Pharao Hound Ch Nothgate's As You Like It.

		Figge goes to USA 2004 September 2004 ~ Elisabet and Sven flew all the way to Atlanta (USA) and they brought Figge with them. They had 6 shows to take part in in nine days. And the results speakes for themselfs... Best of Breed and group~4 5 Best of Winners 5 Majors AND he recieved his title WOW American Champion

		Topproducer 2 times BOS at Skokloster 6 times 2´nd Best Male at Skokloster He ended his career after a bad accident with his leg not even 7 years old.... but once when he was 9 years old he did his last show at our big specialty Skokloster. He ended up as BOS-veteran, all cut down. I will always remember you, you were my everything! Madde Thank you Elisabet for shareing him with me.

		Affe was a mixed dog, his father was a standard poodle and his mother was a mix between germany shepherd and a vorsteh. Affe was Percy´s dog when we met.
