Welcome to our homepage Madde is the one that goes to dogshows and CO-own several of the dogs with Elisabet Levén and Sven Westerblad. We show the dogs when we think they are ready and they only shows a couple of year each. Most of the time they are gorgeous homedogs.

Judging I had the honour to judge Junior Handling on Iceland. I had the most beautiful and lovely days together with Auja and her family. On Friday I judged the Junior Handler, there were 37 enteries. They were devided into 2 classes, 10-13 and 14-17 y.o. It was really good to have these groups, in the first group I could write some critics and in the secons group I really had the chans to do some handling tests on them. My winner in the first group was a really easy handler who did everything right, and she was there to show her dog and to have a fun evening. My winner in the second group was also a very great handler, and very easy on her hand with her American Coccer. On Saturday and Sunday they had there INT KC show, they only have 3 during the year. It´s impressive to see how wellpresented the dogs are, both in handling and condition, due to the very few shows. I want to congratulate Auja for Chelseas Championship (Ch Punapaulan Yasmine). I also want to send all my best for the Junior Handling team going to Denmark to compete in Nordic Winnershow and also good luck to Thorpe (?) at Crufts. Thank you all for a lovely weekend, you could be very proud of your Junior Handlers. |

At the same day as these "toys" were borned, Figge´s other son Ch Abicas Marquis De Sade won another BOB in great style, he is currently #1 Afghanhound in Denmark and Sweden. World Dogshow We had a lovely day at the World Dogshow in Stockholm. We had entered 2 dogs and came home with two World Winner-titels. Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation New World Winner-08 (CACIB) Ch Gengala Just Like That New World Veteran Winner-08 (BOB-vet) Thank you judges: Mrs Joan Goldstein and Dr Espen Engh. A huge congratulations to Figge's son It was a pleasure to see them as #1 and #2 to in a huge championclass. Ca 160 afghans. |

Hässleholm Nat KC show Today we went to the show with our ownbred black pug Jawahars Sigrid Brahe "Sigrid" hasn´t been to a show for the 2 last years! We are so proud that she went all the way to Best Of Opposit Sex with her second CAC. There were almost 60 pugs entered. Thank you judge Bo Lasthein Andersen, Denmark. Veteran of Veterans Ch Gengala Just Like That "Olivia" was invited to the glitter and glamour-show Veteran of Veterans. She was the only afghan entered to the whole show. Like last year she loved it and this year she went all the way to the semi-final! "Figge" was invited to Champion of Champions for the 3´d time, but we didn´t enter him, he has a "homeyear". Congratulations While we were on vacation and we´re not having many dogshows in Sweden right now, Denmark started their showyear with an INT KC show in Odense. Figge's son Marquis went to his 2'nd show this year, he went all the way to BIS~3. This time he was shown by his breeder Kirsten. |

Highlights 2007 Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation On the Top Dog Of All Breeds-list (KC-list, Agria Cup) Figge achieved # 9 (of all breeds), # 2 (Sighthound) and the highest placed Afghanhound (# 1). And on the top of this he was also # 1 Afghanhound male on the Afghan Of The Year-list. During the year he also achieved one SBIS (Sighthound Specialty) and one All Breed BIS (Finland). Thanks to Elisabet and Sven for Figges success!

Olivia wins Champion of Champions 2007 This glitter and glamour matchshow is for the topwinning dogs of all breeds during one year. 3-5 dogs from each FCI-group are invited. Olivia was invited to both Veteran of Veteran and Champion of Champions. Olivia is the first afghanhound to win this special show. Elisabet and Sven had the honour to win Veteran of Veterans with Ch Xciting So Far So Good 2002. The judges for Champion of Champions were Norman Huidobro Corbett, Spain, Fredrik Norgren, Sweden & Antonio Di Lorenzo, Italy. They wote for the dog they like the most and that one will continue to the next level. And olivia went all the way! In the final she met the lovely Pharao Hound Ch Nothgate's As You Like It.

Figge goes to USA 2004 September 2004 ~ Elisabet and Sven flew all the way to Atlanta (USA) and they brought Figge with them. They had 6 shows to take part in in nine days. And the results speakes for themselfs... Best of Breed and group~4 5 Best of Winners 5 Majors AND he recieved his title WOW American Champion

Agneta got her first afghan in 1958, her name was Sanhjara out of Tanjores Domino and by a son of Xenos v d OM. Sanhjaras life was too short, she died one year of age to a sickness. Then Agneta got Sikandra Darja, she was out of Ch Benares Baba Lou & by Ch Crown Crest Kaejorg.
Sikandra Darja was a multiple CACIB & CC winner, but didn't finish as a Champion. Agneta retired her from the show ring when she bought Tajmahal's Kenya II. She was out of Int. Ch. Tajmahal Nefertite & by Int Ch Talmahal Abd-ul Djari.
Kenya II was very successful in the show ring, she became INT Nord Ch. and was one of Scandinavians most top winning bitches.

The most successful dogs came from the C- & D-litters (see history) , but Agneta's all time favorite of her own breeding was INT Nord Ch Jawahar's La Femme.
Another successful dog from Agneta was INT Nord Ch Jawahar's Dante, actually this was one of Elisabet Levéns first afghans. In 1970 Jawahar's Dante was Afghan hound of the year In the early seventies Agneta imported a male from the US, his name was Fantasis Sportin Life out of Akabas Devil May Care & by Akabas Royal Ransom. Agneta wanted to bring in a new bloodline to incorporate in her breeding program.
Unfortunately Fantasis Sportin Life died at a young age due to a tick bite, therefore he only produced a few litters. We are proud to say that you can find him in the pedigree of Xciting afghans.
Due to family circumstances Agneta couldn't continue to breed afghans, her family and full time job as a nurse took up all her time.
At that time Agneta still owned some afghans and when her daughter Madelene turned 15 y.o. she bought her first afghan of her own,
INT Nord Dk Ch Xciting Bullet The Blue Sky in co-ownership with Elisabet Levén.
Although Agneta was not breeding anymore, she never lost her passion for the breed and could now follow the successful team from ringside.

Madelene was born into Kennel Jawahar. After having afghans around the house and showing them for others, Madelene really wanted an afghan of her own. For years she had traveled with Elisabet & Sven and competed in Junior Handling with their afghans.
Carina & Britt Ekwall at Kennel Xciting had a promising litter sired by Ch Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and there he was, Frans, Ch Xciting Bullet The Blue Sky.
Frans was shown by Madelene and Elisabet and for some years he was one of Sweden's most top winning afghans.
He was a fantastic show dog, a real performer, but unfortunately Frans broke his leg and he was retired from the show ring after that.
Then the sweet sweet whippet, Cello, Airescot Cello joined the family.

After Frans the plan was to buy a new afghan, but Madelene wanted to wait until the right dog came along. It took some years, but finally Xciting made another interesting breeding and it was time again to look for another puppy.
His name is INT US Nord Dk EE Lat Ch Xciting Xtravagant Creation, Figge. He is co-owned by Elisabet and Sven and always shown by Elisabet.
Figge is one of Sweden's most top winning dogs of all breeds. We don´t like to campaign the same dog year after year, so more or less he has been shown every other year in Sweden. Now that Figge was campaigned in Sweden by Elisabet. Madelene was offered to show one of Elisabet & Sven's Australian imports, the lovely bitch INT Nord Dk Ch Gengala Just Like That , Olivia. For not to compete against each other, Olivia was mostly shown in Denmark and the southern part of Sweden.
Olivia did not enjoy dog shows from the beginning, but she learned to love it. Madelene and Olivia is a perfect match and it shows in the ring. After two years of showing Olivia, she has been Afghan of the Year and Afghan Bitch of the Year, along with winning Champions of Champions in Sweden, actually she is the first afghan ever to win this prestigious event.
Olivia is also a multiple Group 1st. winner and have won numerous BIS veteran.
A couple of years ago Madelene bought another afghan, for the main purpose to start breeding in the Jawahar name again.
This bitch is a line breeding on Ch Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, her name is Tash Kurgan End Of Story, Debbie.
She has been shown very little, but is only one CC away to complete her Swedish and Danish Champion title.
As you can tell we don´t have many afghans, the most important thing for us, is that the dog can be part of our family.
What will the future bring ? Well, maybe Jawahar will have a litter from Debbie and Figge. Until then, Agneta is still an active member of the afghan community and Madelene will do what she does best and love the most...showing dogs.

Cello is my homeboy, but he has been to some shows (he´s to big to many judges) and especially the breedjudges has seen his qualities. Winning BOS-puppy and a couple of year later winning OpenClass and 5´th Best Male at Skokloster is worth mention. Otherwise he is the dog that always follow his owner. Even though he is 13 y.o. he is the dog that is in the front when we´re walking and when we going by car he always wants to come along. |

Topproducer 2 times BOS at Skokloster 6 times 2´nd Best Male at Skokloster He ended his career after a bad accident with his leg not even 7 years old.... but once when he was 9 years old he did his last show at our big specialty Skokloster. He ended up as BOS-veteran, all cut down. I will always remember you, you were my everything! Madde Thank you Elisabet for shareing him with me.
