| Cubemaster Gold is an awesome Tetris game. It features: 5 modes of play (Classic, Pro, Extreme, Gold & Free); up to 32 different shapes; X-Cubes; has 30 tunes, 100 backgrounds, 20 cube textures & 5 skins; you can choose keyboard, mouse or joystick; add your own background images (supports BMP, GIF, JPG & WMF); use your own background music (supports MID, MP1, MP2, MP3, MOD, S3M, XM, IT & MTM); animation effects; and more. This is not your ordinary Tetris clone! It offers a level of sophistication not normally seen in freeware games and an extremely high level of customization. You can personalize Cubemaster Gold to a high degree and create virtually your own Tetris game in the process. Alas, it does require at least an 800x600 screen – and even that is too small to show the entire game window in the Classic mode, and at least a 1024x768 screen is required for the other modes! The old expression "bigger than Ben Hur" springs to mind when discussing this game. It offers more customization, it is larger, it has better background music, etc than any other version we have seen. You can even totally remap the keys, mouse movements and joystick controls! If you enjoy Tetris, even occasionally, this is the one to beat. Cubemaster Gold is, well, bigger than Ben Hur... Get it now! |

| Tetris was a game for everyone and one which became very addictive. The idea of matching a variety of blocks to make a complete line was so simple that anyone could pick up the gameplay. It's no wonder that shareware and freeware developers have created clones or enhanced versions of this game, simply due to it's mass appeal. Cubemaster 2000 is no different from the original game and in fact only has one enhancement to make the game more challenging to those who became an expert at the classic game. With two modes of gameplay that includes the original 'classic' and 'pro', the professional mode expands on the variety of blocks and the size of the playing field. Options are abundant in making this title look and sound to your liking, and comes with a choice of 25 backgrounds, 6 tunes and 4 different cube graphics. Supporting mouse, keyboard and joystick, there were no problems in playing the game except the option to reconfigure your keys. The entire interface is well laid out and includes quick access buttons including configuration, a pause feature, preview window and more. If you're looking for the original game with a set of options to make it more challenging, the Cubemaster 2000 is the perfect choice. Step back and relive those days when you were addicted to this simple game and with the game being FREE, what better incentive is there? | It seems as though everyone that can draw a square with the little turtle in LOGO or make the "Hello World!" program in BASIC has attempted to make a Tetris clone at some point in their life. Unfortunately, most of these clones either alter the formula that made the original so addictive or are so poorly implemented that they're more a let down than a good time. Enter Cubemaster 2000. This version of Tetris can be both an exact copy of the original's gameplay, or you can make it more difficult (or easier) by altering the number of tiles, customizing the controls, importing different tile sets, importing music (it includes 40 songs), and even tracking your best efforts in a hall of fame. The best part is that the designers have not messed with the original formula. It's still about making solid rows of cubes with the different falling shapes. These coders should make Alexey Pazhitnov (the original Tetris designer) proud. |

| Cubemaster 2000 is one of the best Tetris style games I've ever played! Choose between 3 different games: Lite, Pro or Free. Your goal is to clear the screen of blocks by getting rows of them. When you get a row, the block will disappear and the screen will shake! Many different options are available including background, preview window, sound effects, music and cube style. | CubeMaster 2000 is the most exciting Tetris clone around. It has combined excellent control with interesting graphics and a great selection of in-game music. You can change the brick patterns to smiley faces, stars or even skulls and the music, interestingly, includes a version of Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit". Overall, this can become extremely addictive if you already are a Tetris fan. You'll keep seeing those bricks even with your eyes closed... |

| New version of Tetris, very complete and totally personalizeable Cubemaster 2000 is one of the best and more complete versions of the classic Tetris that you can find. The ease of use and variety of options turn it an excellent entertainment. In order to begin, Cubemaster allows you to choose the design of the pieces with which you are going to play, music that you will listen to while you play (you can select your own archives) and the image that you want as a background. You have different modes to chose from and one is the traditional game of the Tetris. Classic, Pro, Extreme are the different modes that varies in difficulty according to the size of the board and number of pieces. Also you can create a customized mode, establishing your own criteria of game and to steer the shape by using the keyboard, mouse or joystick.
