This seemingly complicated geometric structure will be explained to you in both text and step by step drawings. The layout represents the construction of the solid (3D) geometry of the shallow shell, the primary acoustical surface, and at the same time reveal all the indefinable measurements and relationship in plane (2D) layout.

All lines are generated and in ralation to only one measure, the choosen lenghts of the instrument. No calculations are required to construct the complete geometric structure shown above.
