"Blue Velvet"   ,   I always conect P.J. with the blue velvet stage suite.
He looked so very different from the other acts and groups from that era in the mid sixties.
Like an exsotic bird with a voice that could outsing whoever who dared to challenge him.
The VOICE could begin as a thunder deep down in the chest and stretch over the octaves
untill reaching the stratosphere where nobody could follow him.


           1965                   .... Some years later

.....but P.J.'s wild stageperformances went too far and sadly it's for this P.J.Proby mostly is remembered.
Not for the fantastic VOICE !
