Here are a some of my images.
First: this is from my very first attempt at astrophotography. I had put a camera adapter on my SP-C6 eq mount, and loaded the camera with Kodak Gold 1000 - not knowing what was suitable. As it happens, this film gave the nicest background color of any I have tried later. The night of the 26th of March I and some friends had planned to go look for comet Hyakutake, as the night was clear, but first a cup of tea. When we came out again, it was snowing! I did not give up but set the alarm for 2 a.m, as the moon should be away by then, but woke at 1 to find the sky clear. I loaded the stuff in my car and set up at my favorite spot east of Ystad, and tried - blindly - some exposure times and f-settings, the objective was a 35 mm wide angle. After a few tries, I could not think of more to try, so I packed the gear, woke my Christina and we drove farther out east, standing in awe at the unforgettable sight of the comet, head near Polaris and tail stretching through the big Dipper down to Coma Berenices and Canes Venatici.
The next day I went to the photo shop to have the film developed - six frames, most of them good.

A late shot, Feb 2001: This one was shot with a Canon digital camera through my 13.1" Dob, afocally with a 25 mm Plössl in a 2.5" Barlow. My tripod was not workig, so supporting the camera aimed to get even illumination was rather awkward. Mare Imbrium, with Sinus Iridum to the right.
