Uppsala University Hospital, building B 19, 1997This glass panel’s main function is to protect the conference room on the inside from view. The transparency allows daylight from the room in to the corridor.
The composition is made up by painted glass squares, placed in bigger openings in a sand blasted surface. The two sized squares are twisted towards each other and make all together two spiral forms.
The photography does not show the full range of colours; starting with light yellow in the beginning of one of the spiral forms and ending with dark violet in the other.
Technical information:
The glasswork consists of two float glass sheets placed with a couple of centimetres distance in a wooden frame. The decoration is turned inside and is therefore protected
