Diatom
The photos below shows a model of a sculpture, composed by two cut and grinded float glass sheets that are mounted at a right angle to each other. The edges of the glass are lit up with fibre optics in the lower tip of the shape.
The light spreads only where the glass is grinded. The green colour in the glass becomes an addition instead of an unwanted effect.
