Gallery 2008 - "Greytone"_______

Back---------------------------__________ ____------- -------

In the series "Greytone", a pattern is sandblasted on both sides of a floatglass sheet. Where two areas of blasted surface overlap one another, a lighter grey tone appears. The masse of the glass makes the surfaces at the back side of the glass looks glossy, in contrast to the blasted surfaces at the front side which are matt.

The techniques are sandblasted and grinded floatglass, the base is made of cast and coloured concrete.

The patterns in "Greytone" are often used in commission works like entrance doors and glass sections. See Commissioned works
