In
the series "Greytone", a pattern is sandblasted
on both sides of a floatglass sheet. Where two areas of blasted
surface overlap one another, a lighter grey tone appears.
The masse of the glass makes the surfaces at the back side
of the glass looks glossy, in contrast to the blasted surfaces
at the front side which are matt.
The
techniques are sandblasted and grinded floatglass, the base
is made of cast and coloured concrete.
The
patterns in "Greytone" are often used in commission
works like entrance doors and glass sections. See
