Version 0.91, updated 2000-05-12
It's freeware

Scribble includes, for example, these features

  • Handwriting recognition using a simplified alphabet.
  • Easy to learn alphabet, very similar to the Palm Grafitti™ alphabet.
  • Can be used with most EPOC32 software.
  • Perfect when it's dark, and the keyboard can't be seen, or to input text when holding the palmtop in your hands.
  • Works with all EPOC32 devices

To do before final release

  • Add accents.
  • Ability to use Ctrl+? commands. To do, no luck as of now.

The current version is regarded as an beta version, and probably still contains bugs.

You can read an review of a previous version of scribble at Frevo. Where Scribble is as of 2nd January 2001 the 4:th most downloaded piece of freeware software.

Important information!!!

The older version, called Scribble, won't work without "sysram1.opx" installed. If you don't have it installed, and don't want to use the newer and better Scribble2000, then you should download it here. It should have been included with scribble.sis, but it isn't. Sysram1.opx IS ALREADY INCLUDED with Scribble2000.
