VW Karmann Cabriolet 1954

Original period photo The 30 hp engine was introduced in January. The cabrio was the first VW model to have metallic paint in May 1954.

Up to 1955 the door had a profile round the door panel. From -56 the inside is flat. Yes! this picture shows a Sedan door, but the Cabrio looks the same.
