Buyers Guide
Part 7
Prices and conclusion
Prices
Sorry I cannot give you any lead there, prices varies between countries and continents. Anyway a VW Cabrio is always one of the least expensive cabrios to drive if you include all costs. Remember that it is always better to pay a little extra for a car that is in a very good condition then to buy a cheap car and end up in endless repairs.
Conclusion
- Check the top carefully
- The lines of the body
- Rust and poor restoration work
- Are the special strengthening sills there?
- Rubber sealings costs a lot to replace
- Check for missing or wrong parts that are special for the cabrio. Finally:
Good luck! If you follow these advise and use you common sense you will probably find a Cabrio that will satisfy you for many years.
