These parts are the same as on any beetle and that information that already is covered by many others both on the web and in books and magazines.
Customized?
The last years I have felt that the trend clearly goes towards original condition, and the best is unrestored original condition, meaning that a original untouched car is better left with the natural patina that comes with age and mileage. Don't restore if it is not necessary!
Don't buy a customized car unless it is very well built, in very good condition and you love it! Be very careful with tuned engines, It is very expensive and complicated to tune a VW engine to last more than a few thousand km´s (or miles)
