GOATWHORE-CARVING OUT THE EYES OF GOD(CD-METAL BLADE/BORDER) Med det här namnet är det svårt att inte spela tuff musik. Hur skulle det se ut om bandet spelat dancemusik eller något sådant. Men det är så mycket bättre än vad jag trodde det skulle vara. För jag trodde det skulle vara ren och skär deathmetal med en growlande sångare men det var faktiskt en hardcoreliknande metal med en sångare som man hör vad han sjunger om. Det går fort, jävligt fort men det är okej för man hör som sagt sångaren och det gör mycket för musiken tycker jag. Goatwhore-ett band att kolla in…(SEX) 28/9-09 |
GOATWHORE-CARVING OUT THE EYES OF GOD(CD-METAL BLADE/BORDER) With this name so is it hard not to play hard and tough music. How would it look like if they have played dancemusic or something like that. But it´s so much better than I thought it would be. Because I thought it should be some pure deathmetal with growling vocals but they have a more harddcoresimilar metal with a singer which you really what he sings about. It goes fast, really fast but it´s OK because you hear what I newly said that you can hear the singer and that does much for the music I think. Goatwhore…..a band to check out…(SIX) 28/9-09 |

GOATWHORE-GOATWHORE(CD-METAL BLADE SPV CD 085-105192/BORDER) Woww….här blir man överkörd. Gruppen startar med ett smattrande ljud av trummor och en sångare som blåser bort skallen på mig. Ibland lugnar de ner tempot lite grand även om musiken aldrig blir snäll eller så för det känns som om inte gruppen skulle kunna vara snäll. Jag tänkte med en gång när jag satte på skivan att det här orkar jag inte med men efter ett tag vande jag mig vid tanken att lyssna på detta en stund. Skumma låttitlar som ”My eyes are the spears of chaos” , ”Silence marked by the breaking of bone” för att säga några låtar. Tycker ni Slayer är hårt….släng er i väggen.(SEX) 20/9-06 |
GOATWHORE-GOATWHORE(CD-METAL BLADE SPV CD 085-105192/BORDER) Woww…. Here you get really driven over . The group is staring off with rattling sound of drums and a singer which blows my head away. Sometimes they calm down a little even if the music never will be nice or something like that because it doesn´t feel like the group can be nice. I thought at once when I put on the record that this I don´t have the guts to listen to but after a while I get used to the thought that I will spend my next half an hour with the group. Odd songtitles like ”My eyes are the spears of chaos” , ”Silence marked by the breaking of bone” just to say some of the songs.
