Thong La Ong is situated North of Khao Lak about 15 km west of road 4147.
Here is a school built up after the tsunami. It is surprising that the school is situated so near the sea on a ground just a little above the sea level. We did a short visit there in April 2006 and distributed cloths, shoes, painter's tools, teddy bears and other toys to the children. It was Catrin Ångström and her friends who had mad a collection in Sweden:
