This island - or more correct: group of islands - is one place you should not miss if you like snorkelling or diving. These islands have very high rocky walls raising vertical from the sea and somewhere interrupted by small beaches where you can feel private if you rent a canoe and leave the resort area, which is situated on a strip of land with long beaches. There are also many good coral reefs. To make Phi Phi for a day is possible but my advice is to make it longer - if you are on vacation, why stress.
