 Our small house is situated in St Cyprien Plage, close to the Pyrénées and the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea. It was built in 1990, in a Catalan style and is part of a residential area called Les Cyclades. The housing estate has common green areas and about 50 metres from our house there is a fenced-off area with a swimming pool with a special area for children. The house is
about 40 square metres (around 450 square feet) in size and offers 7
places to sleep, distributed over a ground floor and bedroom on the
first floor (click
here to view a detailed plan of the house). The kitchen area
contains a refrigerator with a small freezer, a stove with 4 hot
plates, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a washingmachine, cutlery
and china for approximately 10 people. In the livingroom there is a
mini-stereo (with a CD, a casetteplayer and a radio).
About one km from our house, there is a wonderful six km long beach. During the summer it is usually very hot and the weather is perfect for water sports (for current weather conditions click here). There are also tennis courts and an excellent golf course within walking distance (about one km away). The town Perpignan (population: 115.000) is situated 20 km away. There are several small villages with interesting churches, abbeys, museums and vineyards nearby. Within one hour's drive you can reach the magnificent Pyrénées with their fantastic walks, caves, bird watching stations and alpine skiing resorts. Just across the border to Spain you will find Barcelona, an approximate 200 km drive along convenient motorways. The tax paradise Andorra is also within reach for a day-trip. Cheap flight connections from several European cities to Perpignan and Barcelona are provided by Ryanair.com.

garden is surrounded by a hedge and a stone wall, and has two
