CHAMPION 2003
TOM RINDBORG More info will come - we hope... |
From 1996, the championships are played annually. Some championships have been cancelled due to too few players, and some have been interrupted when the night became too dark to find the balls.

The R.Å.S.O.P. members view traditional lawn croquet as a thread of silk, as compared to the barbed wire nest of eXtreme croquet. However, for PR reasons, the club offered to arrange the official Swedish Lawn Croquet Championship.
The offer was accepted, and so we did arrange this competition in Linköping in 1986 ("Slaget om Stångåbro").
The following year, i.e. 1987, Mats Thilén took part of the Swedish Lawn Croquet Championship of that year. He has never won a R.Å.S.O.P. championship, but he actually won the official SLC title. Undoubtedly, this was as a demonstration of the R.Å.S.O.P. power.
