Listen to els Zefençadéirs dal
Repúblicâ Talossán speak
with their own voices!

The ZRT want you to know where we stand not only as a party, but also as individuals. We have therefore let a political journalist interview our list of candidates.Votetz Zérétistà!

Miestrâ Schivâ

1 How old are you? As old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth. Seriously, five years old when Talossa was founded.

2 On which day were you naturalised as a Talossan citizen? June 28 2004, I believe. It should have been September 26 1997, but meh.

3 Why are you a member of the ZRT? Because Talossa is serious business. Seriously, because it was time to build a new leadership team to kick the Republic out of the low-immigration doldrums into which it has drifted. And because Ián, Gjermund, and Iensâ are good people.

4 What Talossan issues are closest to your heart? El glheþ, rapproachement with the Kingdom and immigration.

5 What would you say most distinguishes the ZRT from other Talossan political parties? We are by far less earnest than the two other major parties. The Peculiarist vision for Talossan lacks the pomp, the glory and the sheer pretension of the Talossan tradition - you could call them the Al Gore faction of the Republic. As for the Progressives, I have enough saving the world to do in my daily life, thank you very much.

6 Do you think Talossa will be one country again in five years' time? Absolutely impossible to predict. Perhaps.

7 What's your favourite colour? Blue. No! Yellow! AAAAAAARGHH!

Ián Anglatzarâ

1 How old are you? I would have had the vote for over a year when Talossa was founded. I'll not be more explicit than that, for fear of encouraging Douglas Adams fans.

2 On which day were you naturalised as a Talossan citizen? On February 21, 1998, I think. The same day as President Emeritus Gruber.

3 Why are you a member of the ZRT? Because I think the time has come for me to take a more active part in Talossan politics, and the ZRT is a party in the old Talossan tradition, fighting for the Talossan values that made me immigrate in the first place.

4 What Talossan issues are closest to your heart? Promoting the language, safeguarding the parliamentary democracy, and making sure we remain a nation among other nations.

5 What would you say most distinguishes the ZRT from other Talossan political parties? Only we think it is important that we are Talossa as Talossa always has been - a Milwaukee-based sovereign nation, and neither just a circle of friends having fun or some sort of intellectual elite, spearheading the future.

6 Do you think Talossa will be one country again in five years' time? As long as both Talossan nations do fine, I suspect not, because having a King seems as valuable to them as not having one is to us. But who knows?

7 What's your favourite colour? Golden amber - the colour of beer and whisky!
