| British cars from the late 30's (and 40's) are often hard to identify. Black, upright and conservative they almost look the same. This is a Lanchester, probably an Eleven Sports Saloon. The once proud pioneer marque became a member of the B.S.A. group and the Lanchester name was applied to what gradually became a line of cheap Daimlers. |
