The Choire - Tannefors Gospel Choir

Tannefors Gospel Choir was founded October 20 1991 under the leadership of PeO Lövholm. The choir took active part in the renewal of the Swedish Church and combined high quality music with pleasant gatherings. A committee was responsible of the performances and the finances of the choir. Repertoire Traditional Gospel and modern Urban Gospel, Negro Spirituals as well as old Pop- and Rock classics could be heard when TGC was on stage. Our conductor Peo Lövholm composed and arranged a great number of our songs, which gave the choir its own special sound. Performances As mentioned before, TGC contributed in an important way regarding the musical activities in the Parish of S:t Lars. We performed in all possible ways. We arranged concerts which content different kinds of requirements, from 'unplugged sessions' with only a piano, to big concerts with a band and complete light- /sound backup. Auditions The choir had auditions at the start of every term, which took place in January and August. It was a choir with high quality demands and motivated choir-members.
