Having Fun with Meccano

Welcome to my most humble (but not always obedient) Meccano Web Page! As you may know, Meccano is a metal construction set invented by Frank Hornby of Liverpool in 1901. However often used as a generic name, Meccano is a registered trade mark owned by Meccano S.A. in France.
There are (or were) 12 different sizes of oufits numbered from 00 to 10 - and as you always wanted a larger outfit than your actual one, there were eleven corresponding accessory outfits numbered from 00A to 9A. In my own case, I had to wait forty years to get Outfit Number Three!
Now I am not going to tell you what you already know - and there are plenty of web sites covering all aspects of Meccano history, outfits and models (see the Meccano Web Ring link below). My chief aim is having fun collecting and building with Meccano, nothing else.
