Tipping Lorry and 'Bus
The Meccano Krazy Kar Kollektion!

Tipping Lorry (Model 215 of 1926).
A crude sketch, not to say a caricature of a tipping lorry ... with Flanged Wheels to boot! As I didn't have any Braced Girders of the correct length in Pea Green, I chose to build the model in Dark Green ... making it a lorry of 1927 vintage instead of 1926.
As the four 3-inch pulleys were added to the smaller sets in 1928, the tipping lorry was re-designed to look a little bit more (but not much more) like the "real thing."
Re-designed? I'd rather say that they spoilt it.

Clockwork 'Bus (inspired by an early 1920s Märklin model).
This motor 'bus (note ' before bus) may be considered as a smaller relative to the double-decker that you could build with Märklin's N:o 4 set. As I was happy enough to own a mint N:o 4 I hesitated to perform the bending of strips called for in the instruction. And I didn't have that huge N:o 202 clockwork motor to power it, either.
Instead I chose to build a freelance 'bus in a somewhat unortodox mix of early 1920s nickel and New Meccano, powered by the N:o 1 A Meccano clockwork motor. In fact I became so engrossed in the building of the 'bus that I forgot to switch on my computer in time to get that huge N:o 202 clockwork motor offered at German eBay!!!
