LivingIn a technocracy housing would be designed to have the highest standard possible, with every modern convince possible. You wouldn’t own a house, but then you would not need to. You would have the full right to modify and use a house in a technocracy as you would do if you owned the house in today’s capitalist society. Housing would be allocated according to desire and need. Those that need large housing such as a family would be allocated a larger house than those singles with no family attached. Houses themselves would be designed to be energy efficient, spacious and pleasing to live in. They would be designed so that they can be up graded easily so that the latest in technology would always be there for peoples benefit. They would also be environmentally friendly. They would be automated as much as possible so, for example, a central computer would regulate room temperature, lighting and the air condition as need by sensing who is present or according to patterns of living. The latest TV cannels would be directly available and could be recalled when ever needed, eliminating the need for copying them (there would be no copyright as there would be no need for it).
