TEAM SESSION

.

The team sessions are designed to use what skills the athlete has learned in the position he/she plays. The group will be divided into 4 teams to compete with each other in a touch football game situation. The athletes will learn leadership, team work, cooperation, timing, motivation, and the spirit of competition.

.

Each team will have 25 athletes and a basic offensive and defensive scheme geared towards youth football

.

The team session will last ½ hour. 15min Offense and 15min Defense. All athletes will participate.

GROUP SESSION

.

The group sessions are designed to enhance maximum relations with select players. For example. Quarterbacks will work with receivers on pass routes while defensive-back work on coverage’s. Quarterbacks will also work with running- backs on the run game while linebackers work on gap responsibility. The linemen will work with both groups.  This teaches leadership and responsibility of the position the athlete chooses to play.

.

The group session will last 15min to ½ hour.

CHALK TALK

.

The chalk talk sessions are a theory setting, designed to teach the basic football terminology.  For example, why there are numbers and hash marks, the length and width of the field, the line of scrimmage, the name of the positions on the team, the responsibilities of the players, basic offensive and defensive terminology, and the overall understanding of the sport.
