
Borage:
Take 2 gr from the dried, finely grined leaves and flowers are put into a cup of hot water. Drink 3 - 4 times/day. This tea helps you to relieve gout, bladderproblems, heartproblems and diuretic.
Lovage: Make a decoction as follow:
Let 2 - 3 gr. dried, finegrained lovage draw in a cup of boiled water for 10 - 15 min. Strain the herb away. Drink 2-3 times/day. This decoction is heartstrengthning and diuretic.
Lavender:
Make a tea of 1 - 2 tsp. dried flowers and put them in a cup of boiling water. Drink 3 times/day. This tea nervsoothing, diuretic and against diarrea.
Lemonbalm:
Herbal infusion: to relieve an upset stomach
2 teasp. finely chopped lemonbalm leaves
1 1/2 dl water
Bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add the leaves and let draw for 10 min. Strain. Drink 1 cup of the warm infusion before dinner.
Chinese lanthern plant:
Help against bladderproblems and gout.
Just eat 5 - 10 berries, 3 - 4 times/day.
Vodkaextract: Flavoring your vodka
To 1 bottle of vodka, you need approx. 150-gr. berries. Put the berries in the bottle and let them be there. Take the extract in tablespoons when you need it. Against stones in the kidneys.
Savory:
Take 2 tsp. from the herb and add it to 1 cup of boiling water. Let draw for 10 min. Drink 3 - 4 times/day. This tea helps to relieve indigestion.
Chamomille: 1 tsp. dried chamomille, 3 dl boiled water. Pour the water over the herb.
Let draw for 5 min. Strain. It´s good if you feel bloated, have a temporary pain in the stomach or diarrea.
Chamomille can heal a gastric catarrh and an ulcer, if you take a cure in a couple of months. Then you drink this tea, on an emty stomach, every morning.
Rosemary: This tea helps against gallbladderpain and indigestion, sudorific and diuretic.
Take 1 teasp dried and finely chopped rosemaryleaves in one cup boiling water. Drink as tea 3 times/ day. You can also use this brew to bathe infected wounds that are hard to heal.
Blueberry: Blueberries are a very good stomachmedicine.
Just remember that:
Fresh blueberries are laxative
Cooked blueberries are stemming
Herbal tea: 1 tsp. sage, 1 tsp.thyme, 4 dl boiling water. Add the herbs into the water and let draw for 10 min. Strain. Drink 2 cups/day. This tea helps to relieve diarrea.
Herbal tea: 1 tsp. rosemary, 1 tsp. marjoram, 1 tsp. yarrowflowers,
4 dl boiling water. Pour the water over the herbs. Let draw for 10 min. Strain. Drink 2 - 3 cups/day for 1 week (maximum). Good against constipation.
Herbal tea: 1 tsp. fennel or caraway, 1 tsp. chamomilleflowers, 2 dl hot water. pour the water over the herbs and let it draw for 10 min. Drink 2 - 3 cups/day.
Good, if you have problems with gases in your stomach. Also avoid eating onions, apples and cabbages.
Peppermint:
Take 2 - 3 tsp. from the finely grined herb and put them into a cup of boiling water. Let draw for 10 min. Drink 3 - 4 times/day. Because of the high contence of menthol, this tea shouldn't be given to small children.
The same recipe can be used on infected wounds. This tea helps to relieve colic, gases, nausea and gallpain.
Thyme: Let 25 g dried flowers draw in a liter of dry, white wine, for 14 days. Strain the wine. Take a glass after every meal to get a better digestion.
Wormwood: Put 1 – 2 teasp. finecrossed, dried wormwood in 1 litre boiling water. Let it draw for 20 min. Strain the herb away. Remember! You are just allowed to take 1 – 2 tabl.sp/day and no longer than 2 days.
Menstrual pains
Yarrow tea: 1 tsp. yarrow, 2 dl boiling water. Let the flowers draw in the water for 10 min. Strain. Drink 2 - 3 cups/day for two days.
Blanched celery: 1/2 dl blanched celery, 6 dl boiling water. Put the celery in the water. Let draw for 10 min. Let it cool down a bit. Drink 3 dl, in small drafts, under the day.
Lemonbalm:
Do an herbal infusion on:
1 tsp. lemonbalm leaves
1 1/2 dl water
Bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add the herb and let draw for 10 min. Strain. Drink 1 - 2 cups infusion/day.
