| Found it in Luleå. As new, only run 2000 mil. But the camshafts were worn out. They had problems |
| with the hardening that year. So the firm I bought it from changed them. Put in camshafts from the |
| QV model. Maybe it gave me a little more power. This was a really comfortable car. But I had to |
| watch my speed, because you never really felt how high the speed was..... My first front wheel drive |
| car. I felt a little nervous about it. With rear wheel drive, you know, that it sometimes spin. Easy to |
| handle. But with front wheel drive? What should I do ?, Drove carefully , the first Winter, to learn. |
| Heating system?? Wasn't so good. they had mounted a electric heater in it when I bought it. It was |
| wrong connected , the water went another way, instead , going through the heater. After I moved |
| the hoses, it became as a new car. It had also an automatic temperature control system. But only |
| one sensor mounted. Therefore, the temperature might go a little up and down. When you reached the |
| temperature you set, it closed, and it took a little time, before it felt that the temperature had dropped |
| so you felt a little cold, before the heat turned on again. So you often set the temp , a little bit higher. |
| At 700 mil i'll got the same problem, as I got with the Alfa 75 V6 3.0. Had to change the bearings. |
| Sold the car after 2 years. Bought a' Swedish Quality product instead, I thought. But I'll never spent |
| so much money, on one of my Alfa's, as I did on this Swedish car. And I would like to buy an Alfa |
| again............Why not an 164 TS..........Or an 156......what a fine design....... |
