Abell Galaxy Clusters

This table lists some interesting Abell galaxy clusters, with links to photos and descriptions. The galaxies are normally rather faint and most often they are ellipticals. It is a challenge to hunt them down visually. Usually a large Dobsonian telescope of some 18" diameter is needed to see more than a handful objects.
