Short presentation of the "Boltiltorp" Kennel.

The kennels original pedigree is from Peter Johnsons "Downsteams Kennel" in England and we firmly want to keep this pedigree. We are keen to retain the overall topgrade external appperance and willingness to work, of this particilar pedigree. In addition we also aim to keep the breed in physically and mentally good condition.

In 1974 we bought Cerries Gimona (Ginnie), after the dog CH Puhs Herakles and the bitch Downstream Erinna, from the breeder Cerrie Hedin. We received our first puppy litter in 1976 from Gimona. Since then we have continued to breed litters every now and then. Due to our ambitious and successful puppy buyers we have received the Swedish Kennel Clubs Working Dogs Breeding Award.

Because we find retrieving, hunting trails and hunting so enjoyable and rewarding we have decided to specialise in this. However, as it is also fun to present a good looking dog at a show, we also manage to include this aspect as well. At the moment we have four Flat coated Retrievers, one Dachshund and one Labrador in our Kennel.

Breeding

We have been breeding in a home environment since 1976. During the whole time, our objective has been to retain the good pedigree that has proven to be so successful. We are pleased and proud of the puppy buyers who have been so successful with their "Boltiltorpare" dogs (the name of the farm where the dogs are bred)
