| MARINES VS SPAWN |
| LSN Version 3-04. Tips
by PelleTM: 1. Be aware of bunching up in such a way that a suprise splatter could damage your entire flock of units! You can do this by for example keeping your units in different rooms, but still be able to assist one another. 2. Fight Splatters and Goo Spitters by running a grunt up right next to them and fire. Many Spawn players will not expect this at all, and will not have any protection for their units. Even if they send units to kill your grunt, he will be able to do damage. You can also put grunts in tight corridors where you run the risk of being ambushed by a splatter. A grunt sacrificed to get rid of a splatter is a grunt well used. 3. Knock down walls, but keep some cover for yourself. Find a building that has windows and stick to it. Sandbags and low military walls can be a good defense against ground bound Spawn units. Drones for example must run around the obstacles, while your units can fire at it. 4. Blow up corpses while you still can! You might very well have to retreat away from some corpses. Throw a grenade there before you retreat. A body left behind means another unit for the Spawn player. 5. Don't leave weak units such as Snipers, Medics or Grenadiers by themselves. They can be easy targets for buzzers. Keep a grunt within range of fire. |
